Week Note: 7/9/26 to 11/9/26

Monday

Some notable things to point out between Friday and Sunday:

  • Friday: Revenue - £53.03. 4 ebook & 4 paperback sales. 9,936 KU page reads.
  • Saturday: Revenue - £46.35. 6 ebook sales. 7,687 KU page reads.
  • Sunday: Revenue - £79.95. 14 ebook & 1 paperback sales. 11,526 KU page reads.

So over the last 3 days, 2 lousy days and 1 really improved day. Will continue to monitor how the changes I've made in my ad set-up work (or don't).

Not as many words written over the weekend as I'd have liked. Will really try to make more of a push this coming week. Have spent a lot of time on nailing down consulting work (my day job) which has cut into writing and publishing activities.

Tuesday

Today I've managed to write 638 words. Not the best writing day, but getting back into it after all the revision work I did on Chapters 1 to 15 and all the restructuring of the plot lines. Sometimes takes a bit of work to get my head back into the groove.

Yesterday I managed to do £52.59 in revenue, comprised of 5 ebooks and 4 paperbacks, and 7,457 KU page reads. Will continue to stick to the plan of focusing on writing while I nail down this consulting work.

Wednesday

Today I wrote 2,770 words. It was a much better day for writing than I've had in a while. I'm feeling more aligned to the updated plot outline. Hoping to make some real progress now.

Yesterday I managed to do £58.51 in revenue, comprised of 6 ebooks and 12,511 KU page reads. The changes I've made seem to be resulting in increased KU page reads. Will track this closely to see how it progresses.

Thursday

Yesterday I managed to do £56.41 in revenue, comprised of 6 ebooks and 1 paperback, and 10,983 KU page reads. The page reads seem to be holding steadier. I have bumped up the ad spend by 20% on the new videos. Let's see if it has an effect on revenue.

I also managed to write 2,373 words in my new book. So my daily writing count is also starting to pick up and get steady.

Friday

Today I wrote another 2,770 words in the new book. A really great day of writing. I'm managing better word counts, and feel it's proof that the work I did to both restructure the outline of the book, and revise the first 15 chapters is paying dividends as I now feel like I am getting momentum back in my writing.

Yesterday I managed to do £61.06 in revenue, comprised of 8 ebooks and 11,565 KU page reads. The page reads are now holding steady, easily 4k to 6k higher than before. It's starting to make a real difference. Will see how things go over the weekend. Back on Monday!
