**Monday**

So reviewing my Friday to Sunday results, I experienced the following:

- Friday: Revenue - £30.72, 3 book sales (2 ebook/1 paperback), KU - 6,962
- Saturday: Revenue - £33.49, 5 book sales (all ebooks), KU - 5,452
- Sunday: Revenue - £42.98, 10 book sales (5 ebook/5 paperback), KU - 5,752

As you can see the revenue and KU page reads dropped inexplicably off a cliff. Which tends to happen for no apparent reason from time to time. And so, on Sunday, I reviewed the output of my agentic AI analysis of my Facebook ads, lowered the spend on my UK ad and kept the spend on my USA ad the same. I also created a new ad with 2 variations to test, which I launched on Sunday in the UK at £10/day and the USA at $10/day. I'll check those over the next 1-2 weeks to see how they are doing and make any additional adjustments to my ad structure.

I also noted that author A.P. Beswick in the UK posted how he does no advertising and makes all of his sales through social media--which of course, is free, so no ad spend equals better margins / profitability. He's offering a subscription model for other indie authors which I may look into to see how I can up my game in the social media space.

My audiobook for The Weaver has now sold 7 copies this month, with various other levels of engagement across Spotify and INaudio. We'll see how that goes by the end of the month. I now have Old Blood audio files in my possession to review, so hoping to have that completed by the weekend.

**Tuesday**

Checked on Monday's figures (with new ads testing in the USA and UK). Revenue was £74.98\. A real rise on numbers from the last few days. But these things tend to fluctuate. Total books sold: 18 (15 ebooks and 3 paperbacks). KU page reads were 7,317\. So on the whole, not a bad day. But with new ads you can have real ups and downs so let's see how it goes.

I finished restructuring The Conclave and started working on the iterations / gaps that I've identified in the first 15 chapters. Once I get everything cleaned up for the first 15 chapters, I'll move onto writing the remainder of the draft, which now sits at a revised 34 chapters.

I populated my social media feeds with several days worth of posts. Will do the remainder tomorrow for the next 10 days or so. Also created and posted 2 TikTok videos. Neither has done particularly well, but let's see how it goes.

**Wednesday**

So revenue on Tuesday was £49.68\. This consisted of 8 book sales (6 ebooks and 2 paperbacks). KU page reads were 7,800, so they were slightly up. Testing new ads always seems to dilute sales for a bit as all the ad sets adjust. Also recently Facebook ads seem to be going through another slight slump. I assume they are constantly making adjustments to the algorithm so it's fairly difficult to assess quite often what is going on. An ad set can be going great guns for a time and then suddenly drop off a cliff.

Most of today was packed with meetings. I got a little bit of writing / editing done, but my consulting "day job" took precedence and I was in London most of the day. Hopefully get more done tomorrow.

I did manage to make one TikTok video out of B-roll clips and it climbed into the high 600 views, beating out my 3 prior TikTok videos which languished in the low to mid-200's.

**Thursday**

Well, in a continuation of the Facebook ad slide, yesterday was a revenue disaster. Only £32.34 in revenue. This consisted of 3 book sales (all ebooks), and 6,978 page reads. I'll have a look at my Amazon attribution link data later today to see if the old ads have been heavily impacted by the launch of the new ones.

Today is a writing day. So I'm off to hit it hard. Will report back later.

**Friday**

Yesterday ended up being more of a catching up, restructuring day. I also decided to start at Chapter One and edit my way back to where I'd finished on Chapter Sixteen. Reason for this is that the restructuring resulting in combining some chapters and creating new ones (across the entire manuscript). This left some gaps in my first sixteen chapters. And unfortunately, the way my brain works, I need to fill in those gaps (and fix some structural and editorial issues in everything I've written to now). It's just how I roll when it comes to my writing.

Regarding Thursday's revenue, all the adjustments I made to the ads are definitely not working well. But I'm going to let it ride a bit longer so that I have more data to analyze. Thursday's revenue was £34.32\. Dismal. That's 3 book sales (2 ebook and 1 paperback), and 7,901 page reads.

Next week I'll run my analysis automation and dive into the data to see what I can figure out.
